The oak vats that we age our beer in are some pretty serious barrels. They start with the actual Oak trees that are harvested in France and then set to age in open air for about five years. The wood is then cut down to a smaller uniform shape. Then the actual manufacture begins. Only Old-World trained artisans can be trusted with this work. Our German manufacturers are the best.
